Virtual Autism Walk

April is Autism Acceptance month. Acceptance of autism as a natural condition in the human experience is necessary for real dialogue to occur. We promote Autism Acceptance to ignite change through improved support and opportunities in education, employment, accessible housing, affordable health care and comprehensive long-term services.

In 2021 the Lewis County Autism Coalition hosts its first Autism Walk with funds going to support our programs that benefit autistic children, youth and adults; and their families. Your fundraising supports The Link, SMART, Neurodiverse Connections, Cultivating Inclusion and our annual Southwest Washington Autism Conference.

Here's How It Works

1: Register online at the link below. Cost is $10 per person (comes with free T-shirt while supplies last).

2: Create a Facebook Fundraiser for Lewis County Autism Coalition and post it on your page. Let your friends and family know why you choose to walk for autism! If you raise $50 or more you will receive a free Autism walk mask. Email info@lcautism.org to let us know your success. You can also make your donation online at https://donorbox.org/lewis-county-autism-coalition.

3: Walk 1 mile or more in the month of April and post a selfie or video with the hashtag #LCAutismWalk2021

Funds raised will support the Autism Coalition’s 2021 programs for The Link, SMART, Neurodiverse Connections, Cultivating Inclusion and the 11th Annual SW WA Autism Conference.
