CHEHALIS — The Lewis County Autism Coalition (LCAC) has announced that their Board of Directors has approved a Link program contract role to design and implement a variety of projects. The LCAC is requesting proposals from individuals who are interested in filling the role of coordinator for The Link program. This opportunity is a part-time, contracted position.

The Link is a program that assists parents, professionals, and community members in identifying resources and navigating autism services in Lewis County. The program provides opportunities to connect, share, and learn more about achieving success for individuals on the spectrum.

The projects and efforts funded through the LCAC Link program and its contracts are used to support, provide resources, and maintain relationships for families and individuals with autism and other disabilities. Furthermore, this role will research and develop processes, programs and events around building the Lewis County Autism Coalitions’ relationships and impact across local community organizations and businesses. This position also includes community outreach and documentation for all program interactions, recordkeeping, and corresponding with members of the community through a variety of means.
