Join us this summer for our Sensory Summer Day Camp! The Lewis County Autism Coalition hosts this program for children with autism and other sensory processing needs or developmental disabilities. The program will take place on Wednesday afternoons at Hess Kitchen in Recreation Park, Chehalis. The program’s primary objectives are to support social and emotional development, motor skill development, and building routines.

The program takes place on Wednesday afternoons at Hess Kitchen in Recreation Park (Penny Playground), Chehalis, and is divided into two classes based on age groups: 4-7 years old and 8-12 years old. With a focus on social and emotional development, motor skill development, and building routines, the curriculum is tailored to meet the specific needs of each age group.

The program includes a range of activities, such as games and movement, arts and crafts, and sensory play, all designed to be fun and engaging while also helping children develop important life skills. Plus, it provides a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and develop their social and emotional skills.

The six-week program costs only $75, and scholarships are available to make it accessible to all families. Take advantage of this valuable opportunity to support your child’s development and give them a summer of fun and learning!
