Our menu of programs for children and youth on the autism spectrum
Social Kids Program – ASD and neuro-diverse children 7-15 years old participate in a 10-week-long series, 3 times during the year. This program helps youth develop friendships and a sense of community. Together, parents learn strategies to potentially enhance interactions with their child.
A semi-structured approach encourages social skills and play skills, while parents participate simultaneously in educational and supportive conversations with teachers, other parents and guest speakers. Social Kids uses SuperFlex, an executive function-based curriculum focusing on making good judgments and improving social skills. For information or to register call 360-623-8449.
