About the Event

Voices of Belonging: A Community Storytelling Supper

This is an intentionally curated evening of storytelling, shared food, and community connection, grounded in lived experience and collective care.

Set in a warm, welcoming atmosphere with shared tables, soft lighting, and thoughtful details, this gathering will feature community storytellers sharing brief reflections on belonging, resilience, and growth. Stories will be paired with a shared supper and space for conversation, connection, and quiet reflection.

Although fundraising is naturally a part of all nonprofit efforts, this event is a meaningful community gathering designed to feel special, grounded, inviting, and fun.

Some storytellers have been invited in advance, and guests are also welcome to participate through an open-mic opportunity. Reflections will be brief and gently facilitated.

Listening is a form of participation and there is no pressure to speak. If, as the evening unfolds, you feel comfortable sharing, a microphone will be available.

There will be space for quiet reflection and flexible participation throughout the evening.

🎟 Tickets & Suggested Donation

This is a ticketed event so we can plan seating, food, and accessibility needs.

Suggested donation/Non-obligatory: $20 to help cover food and event costs yet this amount or any other is welcome!

$0 tickets are available - no one will be turned away.

Attendees are encouraged to register in advance, even if not able to make a donation.

Community comes first. Your presence matters more than your contribution.

Please reserve a ticket so we can plan accordingly 😊

🤫 Silent Auction & Community Games

A small, thoughtfully curated silent auction will be available during the evening, featuring a few special items generously donated by local supporters. Proceeds help sustain the Coalition’s community programs and support the work of the Spectrum & Development Community Center.

Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a couple of lighthearted community games during the evening. These optional activities are simply a fun way to engage together while helping support the Coalition’s ongoing efforts to build belonging and opportunity in our community.

Participation is completely optional, we are simply grateful you are joining us for the evening.

Can't make it but still want to donate? No problem! Simply go to: https://www.lcautism.org/lewis-county-autism-coalition-thank-you-for-your-generosity
