Voices of Belonging: A Community Storytelling Supper

This is an intentionally curated evening of storytelling, shared food, and community connection, grounded in lived experience and collective care.

Set in a warm, welcoming atmosphere with shared tables, soft lighting, and thoughtful details, this gathering will feature designated community storytellers sharing brief reflections on belonging, resilience, and growth. Stories will be paired with a shared supper and space for conversation, connection, and quiet reflection.

This is not a formal fundraiser, it is a meaningful community gathering designed to feel special, grounded, inviting, and fun.

🍽 Shared Supper (Catered + Optional Potluck)

Food is a language of care, and many people express belonging through what they bring to the table.

Guests are welcome, but never required, to contribute a potluck dish. The meal will also be supplemented by catering to ensure there is enough food for everyone and that no one feels pressure to participate.

Bringing food is optional. Being present is enough.

If you’re able to bring a dish, please let us know:

🎤 Storytelling Format

Some storytellers have been invited in advance, and guests are also welcome to participate through an open-mic opportunity. Reflections will be brief and gently facilitated.

Listening is a form of participation and there is no pressure to speak. If, as the evening unfolds, you feel comfortable sharing, a microphone will be available.

There will be space for quiet reflection and flexible participation throughout the evening.
