This is one of those beautiful, simple ideas that just works:

We are honored so to invite you to the 2nd Annual 100+ Women Who Care, hosted by Soroptomist Centralia-Chehalis Club, right in Centralia! I know how much our community values giving back, and this is a simple, beautiful way to make a significant impact together.

The event will showcase three local nonprofits:

the Lewis County Autism Coalition,

Hope Alliance of Lewis County and

the Hope Housing Collaborative of Lewis County.

The nonprofits were picked randomly from the nominations that were provided by the participants from last year, the release stated.

Attendees will hear 10-minute presentations from each organization

about their mission, impact and needs.

Then, participants will vote to determine which nonprofit will receive

the donations raised during the event!

The winner of last year's event was Onalaska Farm Sanctuary, which was awarded $6,530 but decided to split it with the two other nonprofits competing, the Boys & Girls Club of Lewis County and Toledo Community Foundation. -The Chronicle
